Stephanie M. Mangus is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business, where she teaches Professional Selling I (MKT 3310) and Sales Force Management (MKT 4310) through the Center for Professional Selling. She holds a PhD in Marketing from Louisiana State University, an MBA from the University of Cincinnati, and a BA in Communication Arts from Ohio Northern University.
Her research examines buyer-seller dyads, sales/service interfaces, service recovery, and emotional drivers of salesperson/customer behaviors. Key areas include trust dynamics, digital communication efficacy in B2B contexts, salesperson well-being impacts, and gratitude's role in ethical consumerism.
Publications demonstrate consistent focus on sales strategy optimization, relationship management during market turbulence, and recovery from service failures. Recent works (2022-2025) emphasize digital sales enablement, trust miscalibration consequences, and luxury branding effects.
