Dr. G. Alexander Hamwi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing at Missouri State University. He holds a PhD in Marketing from Georgia State University (2009), an MBA from the University of Alabama (2003), and a BS in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi (2001).
His research explores topics such as salesperson burnout, mentoring impacts, and emotional labor in sales roles. Notable contributions include developing the INDSALES model for job satisfaction and studying buyer-seller relationships in multi-source markets. He has published extensively in journals like the Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management and the Journal of Business Research.
