Stephanie Eckerd is the FedEx Supply Chain Professor and James A & Natalie Haslam Faculty Fellow at the University of Tennessee. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. Her research focuses on behavioral operations and supply chain management, particularly examining how social and psychological factors influence buyer-supplier relationships. She teaches strategic sourcing and operations management courses, recognized for teaching excellence. Eckerd serves as an associate editor for the Decision Sciences Journal, Journal of Operations Management, and Journal of Supply Chain Management, and sits on editorial boards of key journals.

Fearon Best Paper Award and the 2015 Chan Hahn Best Paper Award. She actively serves on the executive committee of the Academy of Management’s Operations and Supply Management division.
