Stephanie Cramer

Stephanie Cramer is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture at the University at Buffalo, serving as Director of the Fabrication Workshop within the School of Architecture and Planning. She holds a BArch from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (2006) and an MArch (Design + Make) from the Architectural Association, London (2014). Her research explores the intersection of drawing and making, the role of architects in construction, and self-build architectural experiments. She has worked internationally with Behnisch Architekten, contributing to award-winning projects in Stuttgart and Los Angeles. Her teaching spans Parsons School of Design, where she led graduate studios emphasizing full-scale construction. Her work has garnered recognition for design innovation, social responsibility, and constructability.
