Stephanie Barbre

Dr. Stephanie Barbre is an Assistant Professor of Practice and Program Director in the Department of Educational Psychology, Leadership, and Counseling at Texas Tech University's College of Education. She holds a Ph.D., M.Ed., and B.A. from Texas Tech University in Educational Psychology and Psychology, respectively.

Her professional experience includes eight years as a licensed specialist in school psychology (LSSP), focusing on student disability evaluations, counseling, consultation, and behavior support in Lubbock-area schools. She has held leadership roles in professional organizations, serving as past-president and lifetime member of the Texas Association of School Psychologists (TASP) and coordinating the rural school psychology interest group within the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
