Dr. Stephanie Annett is a Lecturer in the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences at the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland (RCSI). She holds a Master of Pharmacy (First Class) from Queen's University Belfast (2008-2012) and a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology from the same institution (2013-2017). Her research focuses on the FKBP protein family, nucleic acid-based drugs, obesity-related diseases, and inflammatory conditions such as psoriasis. She has secured grants from organizations including Enterprise Ireland, the Health Education Authority, and the National Psoriasis Foundation.

Her research interests span cancer stem cells, obesity-associated cancers, diabetes, and immunology. Notable contributions include work on FKBPL-based peptides targeting angiogenesis and therapeutic strategies for obesity and inflammatory diseases. She teaches in RCSI's MPharm program, leading the Year 3 module and the Cancer: Prevention and Control course.
