Professor Stephan Huber holds the Chair of Civil Law, Civil Procedure, Insolvency Law, and Private International Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Tübingen. His research focuses on core areas of private law and procedural law, with particular emphasis on commercial disputes and cross-border legal frameworks.

In Winter Term 2024, he organized a block seminar on January 31, 2025, to analyze the new 'Justice Strengthening Act' (Justizstandort-Stärkungsgesetz), which introduces specialized commercial courts for disputes exceeding €500,000 and allows proceedings in English.
