Melanie Huber-Lehmann

Melanie Huber-Lehmann serves as Assistant Professor of Swiss and International Civil Procedure Law at the University of Lucerne's Faculty of Law since August 2023. She concurrently holds positions as board member of the Obwalden Institute for Justice Research (IJF) and co-editor of the Swiss Journal of Civil Procedure and Enforcement Law, demonstrating deep integration within Lucerne's legal academic ecosystem.

Her educational trajectory includes law studies at the University of Fribourg and Perugia (Italy), culminating in a doctoral degree from the University of Fribourg. This foundation established her expertise in procedural legal frameworks across jurisdictions.

Research focuses intensely on civil procedural intersections, particularly examining provisional relief mechanisms within debt collection and insolvency law.
