Dr. Steph Bond is a Research Fellow at the School of Geography, University of Leeds, specializing in catchment hydrology and nature-based solutions for flood management. She collaborates with regional and national partners to enhance climate resilience through land management optimization.

Research Focus includes natural flood management, hillslope hydrology, soil-water interactions, and GIS modeling. Her work addresses flood/drought resilience, carbon sequestration, water quality, and biodiversity in agricultural and upland catchments.
Scientific Awards:
- Water Woman Special Commendation Award (2025) for societal impact and knowledge transfer
Projects include the West Yorkshire Flood Innovation Programme, Digital Smart Flood Warning Systems, Healthy Lands Healthy Rivers, CASTOR, and long-term monitoring of land use impacts in the Lake District. Partnerships span the Environment Agency, West Yorkshire councils, National Trust, and UKRI.
