Steffen Lehmann is a tenured Professor of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where he directs the Urban Futures Lab. He holds a Dr.-Ing. in Architecture and Urbanism from TU Berlin and has served as an executive leader at architecture schools across the US, UK, and Australia. With over three decades of academic and professional experience, his research focuses on sustainable urbanism, climate resilience, and low-carbon technologies. He has authored 24 books, including the influential *The Principles of Green Urbanism*, and has been awarded the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Urban Development (2008–2010), the Global Top 100 Leader in Education (2020), and the 2023 Fielden Medal for Educational Excellence.
