Stefano Masini is an Associate Professor of Agricultural and Food Law at the Faculty of Medicine of the Università di Roma Tor Vergata and UniCamillus-Saint Camillus International University of Health Sciences. He coordinates activities in the Area Ambiente e Territorio of Coldiretti and serves on multiple editorial and scientific committees for journals like Diritto Agroalimentare, Giustizia Civile, and Aestimum. He is actively involved with organizations such as Fondazione Santa Chiara, Fondazione Il Nibbio, and EURISPES. Previously, he contributed to the Ministry of Agriculture’s Expo 2015 structure and the reform of agri-food crimes through the Caselli Commission.
He holds a Law degree from Università LUISS Guido Carli, where he worked as a researcher in the Centre for Legal Studies for Business. His research focuses on agri-food legislation, environmental governance, and sustainable territorial planning. He lectures at the Carabinieri Officer School and Forestal School.
Notable publications include Corso di diritto alimentare (2022), Tracce di diritto agrario (2019), and collaborative works like C’è del marcio nel piatto (2018). His contributions to food safety and agri-food crime reform have been recognized with national honors.
He is a member of the National Food Safety Committee and serves on multiple foundation boards, including Fondazione Osservatorio sulla criminalità nell’agricoltura e sul sistema agroalimentare and Fondazione Campagna Amica.
