Stefano Bagnato is a Professor of Psychology and Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh, with primary appointments in the School of Education's Department of Health and Human Development and the School of Medicine's Departments of Pediatrics and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. He serves as Faculty Mentor for the Children with Special Healthcare Needs specialization and founded the Early Childhood Partnerships program. As core faculty in the UCLID-LEND Disabilities Institute at UPMC Children’s Hospital, he contributes to federally funded leadership training in neurodevelopmental disabilities.
His research focuses on evidence-based practices for early childhood development, including:
