Dr. Stefanie Nelemans is an Associate Professor at Utrecht University's Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, specifically within the Youth and Family department. Her research focuses on adolescent development, particularly anxiety, depression, and psychosocial adjustment, integrating biological, psychological, and social factors. She leads projects under the Dynamics of Youth (DoY) initiative, including "Healthy play, better coping" and "Why is everybody watching me?! Working towards a novel model to explain social anxiety in adolescence".
