Dr. Heiko Schmengler is a postdoctoral researcher in the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences at Utrecht University, specializing in social epidemiology. His research focuses on the development of health inequalities over the lifecourse, with expertise in epidemiology, public health, migration, and youth education. He is affiliated with the Youth in Changing Cultural Contexts research group and the Dynamics of Youth (DoY) initiative.
