Stefanie Brueckner is Assistant Professor of Economic Geology at Laurentian University's Harquail School of Earth Sciences. Her research program examines metal distribution in metamorphosed hydrothermal deposits through integrated field, microscopic, and analytical approaches.
Brueckner's specialization includes VMS deposit genesis, deformation impacts on ore systems, and geochemical exploration methods. Prior appointments include faculty positions at the University of Manitoba (2020-2024) and Auburn University (2016-2018), complemented by research roles at MERC.
Her PhD research at Memorial University focused on metamorphosed volcanogenic massive sulfide deposits, establishing foundations for her current investigations into structural controls on metal tenors from micro- to macro-scales.
