Stefania NEGRI

Stefania NEGRI is an Associate Professor at the Department of Legal Sciences within the School of Law at the University of Salerno. She directs the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence "New Visions of the European Union's Role in Global Health" (EU4GH) and maintains an office at Fisciano Campus, Building C, Second Floor, Room 088 (U.FSTEC-02.P02.088). Her reception hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:30-10:30 AM.

Her research focuses on:

• European health law frameworks
• Gender equality and gender-responsive medicine in legal contexts
• Right to health and access to medicines under Italian and European law
• International environmental law intersections with health policy
• European pharmaceutical regulations

Professor Negri leads significant academic initiatives including the "European Pharmaceutical Law" (EUPHAL) course, with recent lectures on "Gender Equality and Gender Medicine in European Law" (December 2024) and "The Right to Health and Access to Medicines" (November 2024). She directed the EU4GH Centre's inaugural conference on April 16, 2024, which brought together European Commission officials, Ministry of Health representatives, and international academics to discuss the EU's role as a global health actor.

Her work bridges legal scholarship with practical health policy, particularly focusing on gender dimensions and healthcare access. She maintains academic profiles on Research Gate and Academia.edu, demonstrating engagement with the international scholarly community.
