Helena Pereira de Melo is an Associate Professor at the NOVA School of Law, specializing in Constitutional Law, Health and Bioethics Law, and Social Equality Law. She has held significant administrative roles, including Assistant Director of NOVA School of Law (2009–2018), and currently works on mobility at ISCTE. Her academic leadership extends to founding the Abio Association (President) and serving as Vice President of the Portuguese Bioethics Association.
