Stefan Wippermann

Prof. Dr. Stefan Wippermann serves as Professor and Guest Group Leader of the Atomistic Modelling group at the Max Planck Institute for Sustainable Materials in Düsseldorf. His primary affiliation is with the Department of Interface Chemistry and Surface Engineering. He holds a PhD from the University of Paderborn (2006-2011) under Wolf Gero Schmidt, with a visiting PhD stint at Tsinghua University (2007-2008).
