Stefan Rehders is a Researcher at the Chair for Multicomponent Materials Navigation, Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel. His work focuses on advanced material systems, particularly soft conductors with unique mechanical properties. He collaborates with the Chair for Functional Nanotechnology to develop lightweight, strain-invariant conductive frameworks.
Research Highlights: His recent studies involve creating ultra-lightweight, foam-like structures using poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) coated with polytetrafluoroethylene. These materials exhibit superelasticity, water stability, and consistent conductance under deformation.
