Stefan Ossmann is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Vienna, affiliated with multiple institutes including the Department of Economic and Social History (Faculty of Historical and Cultural Studies), Institute of Cultural and Social Anthropology (Faculty of Social Sciences), and Institute for International Development (Faculty of Social Sciences). He holds a PhD in Social Sciences (Communication Science, 2022) and advanced degrees in Communication Science and Development Studies.
Research Focus: Ossmann specializes in polyamory studies, examining its representation in media, social identity formation, and intersections with sexuality and consumption. His work bridges sociology, media studies, and cultural anthropology.
