Stefan Holgersson is an Associate Professor and Docent in the Information Systems and Digitalization (INDIG) division at the Department of Management and Engineering (IEI), Linköping University. His research focuses on policing practices, governance transparency, and media interactions. He collaborates with the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency through the Center for Advanced Research in Emergency Response (CARER). His work critiques police transparency and media representation, as seen in studies like 'How does the Swedish Police Authority protect and strengthen public perception of its efficacy?'
