Stefan Hofbauer

Stefan Hofbauer is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Biochemistry, Department of Biotechnology and Food Science, University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna. His research focuses on the molecular enzymology of heme biosynthesis in prokaryotes, particularly the structure-function relationships of enzymes such as coproheme decarboxylase and coproporphyrin ferrochelatase.
