Stefan Eimer

Prof. Dr. Stefan Eimer is a faculty member at the Goethe Universität Frankfurt, affiliated with the Department of Cell Biology and Neuroscience. His research focuses on unraveling the molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Parkinson’s disease, through studies of mitochondrial quality control, membrane trafficking, and autophagy in the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans.
