Statia Elliot

Statia Elliot is Professor (retired) in the School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management at the University of Guelph. With over 10 years of industry experience including Director of Marketing for Travel Manitoba, her research examines tourism marketing, destination branding, and sustainable tourism practices.

She teaches Hospitality & Tourism Marketing and International Tourism at undergraduate and graduate levels. Professor Elliot serves as Chair of the Ontario Tourism Education Corporation Board and has held leadership positions with the Travel and Tourism Research Association of Canada.
