Dr. Stan Liebowitz is a Professor of Managerial Economics at the Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas, where he has been affiliated since 1991. He holds the prestigious Ashbel Smith Professorship, an endowed position named after the founder of the UT System. Liebowitz leads the Center for the Analysis of Property Rights and Innovation, a pioneering think tank studying intellectual property in the digital age.

His research focuses on the economic impacts of digital technologies, particularly file-sharing, copyright enforcement, and antitrust issues in high-tech industries.
