Staffan Elgelid is a Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Nazareth College. He holds a BS, MS, and PhD in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas (UCA), along with certifications as a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner, Certified Yoga Therapist (RYT-200), and NBC-HWC Certified Health and Wellness Coach.
His academic and clinical interests focus on Health and Wellness, Soft Tissue work, and Alternative Approaches to care, with specific research interests in lifestyle modifications and Health Coaching. He has authored/co-authored several books and DVDs on Yoga, Training, and the Feldenkrais Method. He previously served on the Board of the Yoga Alliance and the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
