Debora H Lavigne is a Senior Lecturer and Program Director of Fitness, Leisure, and Wellness at Quinnipiac University’s School of Health Sciences. She holds two master’s degrees: one in Exercise Science from Southern Connecticut State University and another in Integrative Health and Healing from the Graduate Institute.

Her research focuses on health and wellness education, emphasizing self-awareness, self-empowerment, and self-care practices across dimensions of wellness. She integrates holistic approaches, including stress management, meditation, and mindfulness, into her curriculum.
Debora is certified by the National Board of Health & Wellness Coaching, trained as a Holistic Stress Management Instructor, and holds Koru Mindfulness Certification. She has extensive experience in field hockey coaching and therapeutic recreation, spanning decades.
