Stacy Thomas-Vickory

Stacy Thomas-Vickory serves as the Dean of Academic Affairs at Montserrat College of Art, where she also holds an adjunct faculty position in the Printmaking department. With a B.F.A. in Printmaking from Montserrat and an M.F.A. in Printmaking and Drawing from SUNY at Buffalo, she brings extensive expertise in fine arts and printmaking to both administrative and instructional roles.

Research & Artistic Interests:

Stacy's work spans printmaking, drawing, and contemporary fine arts. Her creative practice explores traditional and experimental printmaking techniques, with a focus on collages, assemblages, and montage. Her thematic interests include landscape reconsideration and the intersection of small-scale works within larger conceptual frameworks.

Exhibitions & Collections:

Her selected juried exhibitions include prestigious showcases such as the 30th Anniversary Show and 25 Years, 25 Artists at Montserrat College of Art, Mondo Tera Firma and Small in a Big Big World at The Cloister Gallery, and The Landscape Reconsidered: Collage, Assemblage & Montage at the Gibbs Gallery. Her work is also part of private collections across the Northeast and featured in the New American Paintings Catalog (February 1998).

Affiliations & Roles:

As Dean of Academic Affairs, Stacy oversees institutional academic initiatives, while her adjunct faculty role allows her to mentor and instruct students in printmaking. Her dual role bridges administrative leadership with hands-on teaching, fostering a dynamic learning environment in visual arts education.
