Stacy-Ann January

Stacy-Ann January is an Associate Professor in the School Psychology Program at the University of South Florida (USF) and Co-Director of the nationally recognized Institute for School-Community Partnerships, Integrated Services, and Child Mental Health and Educational Policy. Her role includes advancing participatory research, providing technical assistance, and supporting federal/state educational policy implementation.

Dr. January's research focuses on academic interventions within multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), family-school-community collaboration, and community-centered approaches to improve outcomes for marginalized youth. Her work emphasizes data-based decision-making frameworks and equity in educational practices.

Her publications highlight trends in universal screening, behavioral interventions, and family engagement strategies. Themes across her scholarship include emotional and behavioral disorders, academic assessment, curriculum-based measurement, and rural education disparities.
