David Klingbeil is an Associate Professor in the School Psychology Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research focuses on multi-tiered systems of support, universal screening practices, and evidence-based interventions in education. He holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota (2013) and has held prior academic positions at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Dr. Klingbeil leads an IES-funded literacy project investigating intervention maintenance and co-leads a grant improving effect size estimation for single-case experimental designs. His work addresses academic and social-behavioral development in K-12 settings, emphasizing scalable and feasible interventions.
