Dr. Stacey A. Bass is an Assistant Professor of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging and Pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine. She serves as Clinical Affairs Section Chief of Interventional Radiology, Medical Director of Pediatric Interventional Radiology, and Director of the Vascular Anomalies Program at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital. Her expertise spans vascular anomalies, interventional radiology, and minimally invasive treatments for both pediatric and adult patients.
Dr. Bass earned her MD and PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Virginia, followed by residency and fellowship training at Johns Hopkins. She previously held leadership roles at Jefferson Radiology, including Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Her academic roles include teaching, mentoring, and advancing research in vascular anomalies, with a focus on improving patient care through innovative therapies.
Her research interests include vascular anomaly diagnosis/treatment, interventional radiology techniques, and women’s health applications. She has authored studies on neuroradiology protocols, vascular interventions, and epilepsy models. Awards include the Castle Connolly Top Doctor (2024) and leadership recognitions from Johns Hopkins.
