Prof. Srinivasan Madhavi is a Professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, holding the President's Chair in Sustainability. She serves as Executive Director of the Energy Research Institute at NTU (ERI@N) and the NTU Sustainability Office, and co-Director of SCARCE, a joint lab with CEA France for e-waste recycling.
Her research focuses on advanced energy storage and circular economy, emphasizing novel energy storage solutions and recycling of e-waste and lithium-ion batteries. She specializes in nanoscale materials for electrochemical devices (lithium-ion, sodium-ion, and multivalent batteries, supercapacitors) and hydrometallurgical recycling techniques. With over 370 papers and 30 patents, her work significantly advances sustainable energy technologies.
