Andrea Balducci

Prof. Dr. Andrea Balducci leads the Professorship for Applied Electrochemistry at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, focusing on electrochemical energy storage devices such as supercapacitors and alkali-metal-ion batteries. His research includes the synthesis and characterization of electrolytes, ionic liquids, and active materials, with a strong emphasis on sustainable technologies like electrolyte recycling.
