Dr. Yameng Fan is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at RMIT University's School of Science, specializing in advanced battery materials and energy storage technologies. She holds dual PhD degrees from the University of Wollongong (Australia) and the University of Surrey (UK), completed in 2023. Her research focuses on lithium-ion, sodium-ion, and aqueous multivalent-ion batteries, leveraging synchrotron and neutron facilities for atomic-scale characterization. She has secured over AUD 3.18 million in in-kind funding through synchrotron projects and serves on the Australian Synchrotron User Advisory Committee.
