Soumya Rangarajan MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School. She serves as a key clinical leader in geriatric care, with prior roles as Medical Director of the Michigan Medicine Hospital Care at Home program (2021-2024) and Director of the Acute Care for Elders service (2018-2021). She actively participates in hospital leadership through the Senate Advisory Committee on University Affairs (SACUA) and the Faculty Senate. Her work spans clinical care, education, and health policy research.

Her leadership extends to the Michigan Medicine Advancing Inclusive Leadership Committee and SACUA, where she advocates for faculty rights and institutional policies.
