Dr. Sorrel Burden is a Clinical Reader at the University of Manchester's School of Nursing & Midwifery, holding a joint clinical academic position with Salford Royal Foundation Trust. Her work bridges research (2.5 days/week) and clinical dietetics practice (2.5 days/week), specializing in gastroenterology and nutritional management of chronic conditions like intestinal failure. She leads studies on colorectal cancer survivorship nutrition and home parenteral nutrition outcomes, with recent Cochrane reviews in cancer nutrition.
