Simon Lal

Simon Lal is a Professor (Honorary Chair) in the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology & Gastroenterology at the University of Manchester. His research focuses on clinical nutrition, particularly home parenteral nutrition (HPN) and intestinal failure management. He contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals through healthcare innovation. Key areas include telemedicine applications in HPN consultations, nutritional protocols for chronic intestinal failure, and gastrointestinal complications in systemic sclerosis.
