Sooyeon Jeong is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Purdue University and director of the Human-Agent Interaction (HAI) Lab. She received her S.B. and M.Eng. from MIT's Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), followed by an S.M. and Ph.D. in Media Arts and Sciences from the MIT Media Lab.

Publications highlight trends in social robotics and psychological well-being, including studies on personality modeling, therapeutic interactions, and real-world deployment challenges. Her work bridges robotics, AI, and behavioral health through interdisciplinary research.
