Corey Fucetola is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Tufts University. He holds a Ph.D., S.B., and M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, where he also conducted postdoctoral work.

His research spans micro/nano fabrication, ion-electrospray propulsion systems, and phase-change adhesives for 3D photonic-crystal structures. He has pioneered innovations in spintronic thin-film materials, Cubesat propulsion, and pyrolyzed carbon aerogel for ion tips. At MIT, he led laboratory renovations and scaled production of micro-thruster assemblies, improving their efficiency and durability.
Dr. Fucetola has contributed to multiple patents and publications in microfabrication technologies, including coherent-diffraction lithography and ionic-liquid handling systems. He co-founded Sublamit LLC to commercialize phase-change adhesives during his MIT tenure.
