Paulo Lozano is the Miguel Alemán Velasco Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His research focuses on developing advanced space propulsion technologies, particularly for small and cost-effective spacecraft aimed at deep-space exploration. He is affiliated with the MIT Space Propulsion Lab and Space Systems Lab, leading innovations in ion thrusters, microfabrication, and satellite mission design.
