Soo Bin Jang is an Assistant Professor in the School of Education at the University of Delaware, specializing in social studies education with a focus on race, equity, and transnational civic identity. She previously held positions at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, including the Pandion Haliaetus Professor of Educational Studies (2021–2023) and Assistant Professor (2017–2023). Her research examines curriculum reforms in Asian contexts, anti-racist pedagogy, and transnational citizenship. She leads a project funded by the Academy of Korean Studies on Korean migrant community leadership.
