Hee Soun Jang is a Professor and Assistant Chair in the Department of Public Administration at the University of North Texas. She leads the Collective Solutions Lab, focusing on collaborative governance and nonprofit sector roles in public service delivery. Her research emphasizes nonprofit organizations' responses to crises, network governance in homeless service systems, and leadership dynamics in cross-sector partnerships.
Key research interests include nonprofit emergency responses during extreme events, effectiveness of networked governance structures, and the role of transformational leadership in crisis management. Her work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical policy implications, particularly in homelessness policy and pandemic response strategies.
