Sonja de Vries

Sonja de Vries is an Associate Professor in Animal Nutrition at Wageningen University, specializing in digestive physiology and nutritional strategies for livestock. Her research focuses on understanding how dietary fibers and protein fermentation influence nutrient digestibility and gut health in pigs and poultry. She leads projects on fiber utilization, feed evaluation, and the development of non-invasive monitoring tools for livestock health.
