Sonia Macleod is a Senior Research Fellow in Civil Justice Systems at the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies. Her research focuses on no-fault compensation schemes, alternatives to litigation in healthcare, and policy development related to patient safety and medical device regulation. She led the Independent Medicines and Medical Devices Safety Review (IMMDS), influencing healthcare policy, and contributed to the Hughes Report on valproate and pelvic mesh injuries.
