معرفی
Sonia Kleindorfer is a Professor in the Department of Behavioral and Cognitive Biology at the Faculty of Life Sciences. Her research focuses on avian behavior, particularly Darwin’s finches and their ecological interactions, including parasite impacts and conservation challenges. She leads the Core Facility KLF for Behavior and Cognition, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to behavioral ecology and evolutionary biology.
Research Interests: Her work explores behavioral adaptations in birds, conservation strategies for endangered species like the Darwin’s finches, and the ecological effects of invasive parasites such as Philornis downsi. Key themes include animal communication, parental behavior, and the influence of environmental factors on avian physiology and behavior.
