Research interests span anarchism's gendered dimensions, racial violence, and labor movements in border regions. Awards include three book prizes and recognition from the American Historical Association. Her public history initiatives emphasize community engagement with historical narratives.
Grants include Fulbright García-Robles and NEH fellowships. She collaborates on transnational studies and has advised multiple academic projects, though specific advisees are not listed. Her work is housed at the Melbern G. Glasscock Building, Texas A&M.
