Her research focuses on gender equity, social power dynamics, and organizational change, with notable work on coercion definitions and entrepreneurial stress management. Dr. Goltz serves on editorial boards for journals like the Journal of Management Education and consults for local organizations like the Portage Lake District Library. She holds a PhD and MS in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Purdue University and a BA in Psychology from the University of Indianapolis.
Her research spans laboratory studies on escalation of commitment and legal aspects of gender equity, evolving into explorations of coercion and freedom. Recent work emphasizes embodiment in STEM equity and mentorship initiatives for mid-career professionals.
