Son Tran is a Professor at Texas Tech University's Department of Plant and Soil Science within the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. He is affiliated with the Institute of Genomics for Crop Abiotic Stress Tolerance (IGCAST) and maintains the Tran Lab research facility.
Dr. Tran specializes in regulatory networks and crosstalk among signaling molecules in plant responses to environmental stresses, with research focusing on translational genomics to improve crop productivity amid climate change.
