Dr. Gunvant Patil is an Assistant Professor in Molecular Crop Improvement at Texas Tech University's Institute of Genomics for Crop Abiotic Stress Tolerance (IGCAST) and Department of Plant and Soil Sciences. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pune and National Center for Plant Biotechnology, India, with prior research experience at the University of Minnesota, University of Missouri, and Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
