Sohee Kwon

Sohee Kwon is a Teaching Professor at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, GA, holding this position since Fall 2010. She specializes in graphic design pedagogy and professional practice. Her educational background includes an M.F.A. in Design from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Konkuk University.

Before joining SCAD, Kwon held teaching roles at multiple institutions in South Korea from 2006-2007, including Hong-ik University, Korea Aerospace University, Sejong University, Seoul University, and Chung-ang University. Her professional design career spans projects such as album jacket design for singer Seorock (2003), branding for Doota shopping mall's 'Funsize' (2005), and packaging designs for LG, Energizer, and RADO watches (2011-2018).

Her design expertise includes visual identity systems, sustainable packaging, and collaborative film production through her work on the movie 'RED' (2003). She has also contributed to fashion branding and cosmetic product design.
